 小常识 - RSVP 和 canapés

 在正式约请函里，咱们常会看到 RSVP 这个短语，其意思是“请回复”。这其实是法语Répondez s'il vous plait 的缩写。现在咱们已构成习气，收到约请函后，不论是否能赴宴，都会回复约请人，便利主人预备酒水和食物。

 Are you up for a musical next week? 下周去看音乐剧，你觉得怎样？（Are you up for 也是十分白话化的表达。）

 在英语里问他人想不想做什么工作，通常用would you like to… 这个说法比 do you want to 要更礼貌含蓄一些，让人听着感觉会舒服很多。
